| cjrocker 2008-03-15 03:21:04 its just a movie!. all shot in green screen(pritty kool) and slow motion figth scenes(also very kool). soo its about an ANCIENT battle. that part of it is about teh only thins that is historical. persians didnt have giant evil mutated creatures.its just a movie on a battle. i didnt come out of this movie going " damn jews". i didnt even know that culd be a point of the movie. all this movie did was got me pumped cause the fight scenes were so sick __________________________________________________ | |
| historywillabsolve 2008-02-21 13:53:38 i enjoyed the film but i agree it was a bit propagandistic and the timing of the release is very suspicious (what with all the pressures/provocations against iran). i think this reviewer takes it a little too far but i wouldn't be surprised if some powerful jews within hollywood pushed this along. __________________________________________________ | |

All i have to say to you that believe the film lies about persias defeat, look up the Battle of Plataea and Battle of Thermopylae. Its not propoganda, why would it be?
