Description: Here we see Sly Stone enter the stage (HP Pavilion Park, San Jose, CA, 07/07/07), then an edit ahead to where he sings "If You Want Me To Stay." This is the first public concert performance by Sly Stone in 25 years, save for cameos at the Grammys in '06 and in Vegas some months back. He only did three songs, but his band did a great job of doing the rest of the hits. But when he came out and started singing, he made the show electric. As you can hear for yourself, he still has his voice, and he's got a lot of charisma. Sly is the one in the white hoodie and baseball hat, you can't miss him. |
