The fight inside the attraction. The challenge to Harrison Ford was the layer made the first film so much better than what followed. It's the Bogie/Bacall, Tracy/Hepburn formula. __________________________________________________

I can only hope that in Indy 4, Lucas won't chop up and reuse John Williams' score, like he did for Star Wars 2 & 3. Sith was a big disappointment hearing all of the reused music chopped in from other SW films. Let's hope that in Indy 4, we don't hear the same exact music reused from Indy 1-3. __________________________________________________
nileqt ::: Favorites  2007-08-08 02:51:14 of course you're going to get the raiders' march, the indy & marion love theme (it should stay the same)... if the ark comes up, you'll get a quick snippit of the ark theme (as they did in the last crusade). it's not chopping up and reusing bits of score for the hell of it. it's using pieces that directly correlate to what is on screen. obviously new characters, items and places will have their own new themes. __________________________________________________

Consider: Palpatine vs. Yoda... we hear the Luke/Vader Bespin music from 'Empire'. Both Yoda and Palpatine have their own individual themes... so why were we hearing Vader's theme from 'ESB'? I'm all for revisiting character themes; I'd just like to hear them rescored by Williams, NOT just cut-n-pasted. __________________________________________________

nileqt ::: Favorites  2007-08-12 00:47:26 and i'll be the odd 20 year old going nuts over harrison back in the fedora. ;) harrison and karen! now that is awesome. i've always felt karen allen and carrie fisher brought the most spark out of harrison--definitely his most equal female co-stars. i like shia and i think he's up-and-coming, but imo, harrison is still gorgeous and my #1 pull (along with a continuation of the indy franchise). harrison is one of the biggest icons in cinematic history! that old spark and lopsided grin is back. __________________________________________________
