The burn means the muscle is starting to fatique and lactic acid is building up in the muscle. To progress you need to work through as much as the pain as possible, but you dont need to go to failure each time.

I combine high intensity and volume training myself. But agree that if your diet is dialed in correcly low reps and heavy weight is a very effective way to maintain mass while getting ripped. This is what my new diet DVD Ripped Rulez is all about. Find it on my site August 1st.

To get the most out of each exercise when it comes to tricep work, full range of motion and complete contractions are very important. This will address all three heads.

Micheal, thank you so much for these workouts! I've been looking for a workout just like this! Thank you!!! Btw, do you know what workout would help with the lateral head. I think that's the one going across the inside of the elbow?

" have one question for you: When you are going for a "ripped" look, how often should you work each muscle group a week? I have heard to only work each group (excluding abs) once a week, is this the best way to get ripped?" I'm sure this must sound strange to you, but you can't get "ripped" without a low fat %. Doesn't matter how you work out, it is the fat that makes you "non-ripped" Forget about high reps, 4-6 is the best!
