BOBIzizou87 ::: Favorites 2008-01-08 10:19:42 I cant teach you nothing I think...I got hurt alot by some people in life, but I refuse to hurt back in away...idk its just that eventually I realise to back off. And come back some day, knowing that what happened is pointless, at the end of the day we are in this together and we cant be perfect. *hugs* __________________________________________________
BitterSweetSuperstar ::: Favorites 2008-01-08 05:57:11 Thank you. You said some things that were medicine to my soul this morning. __________________________________________________

ButterRivaLs ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 17:11:32 OK, so that made me sound a bit like a Pollyanna (which I'm not). I do realize that some people have spent their whole lives unhappy and unkind. Maybe they never learned the skills of how to be kind? I don't think that their getting a chronic illness helps their odds of becoming a better person. I also know that when a person has spent their entire life unhappy, that I'm not the one who's going to miraculously make them all better. __________________________________________________
ButterRivaLs ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 16:25:34 For me, I like to keep the *sick conversations* to a bare minimum. I like the life and living conversations much better. Imagining and dreaming are blessings too. Hugging, snuggling, and of course kissing gotta follow. __________________________________________________
f3xpgm ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 15:42:19 And what to say in those situations, that is a hard question too! What can i say? In those situations i hugged, i guess there's nothing i could say, the power of a hug is the best i could get it it's possible for me to imagine what it would be like, i guess not! I love you! ;)! BIG HUG! __________________________________________________
f3xpgm ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 15:42:06 Hi pretty Gina! I lived so many cases like that, people i know who got sick someday in their life and instead of believing they would get ok, that they were strong and able to get over it, instead of doing that they made other people get sorry, get sad for them, to feel bad with what they would say! __________________________________________________
vampypink ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 14:26:24 gina, i dont break promises, so here goes.... i promise i'll make one within the next two weeks. im on cam every night in the chatroom rambling, lol, u should pop in one night and say hello __________________________________________________
ItalianStallionette ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 12:38:24 Exactly. This is the point I'm trying to come across. Being ill can make you a better person by the pure existence of it. But it can also make someone the opposite. Any life changing situation will leave you with the chance to recreate a new you. __________________________________________________
RobNorthampton ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 11:53:34 ...He was the first to admit that he used to be an asshole. Because of his illness, he said he had become more humble, more understanding, and a much better human being, so ironically, he thought that his MS had actually been a 'positive' in his life. Makes ya think huh? __________________________________________________
RobNorthampton ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 11:52:59 You make some good points Gina. And you are fully qualified to make them. Sometimes however, chronic illness can make someone a BETTER person. When I worked on the Ambulance Service, I regularly had to transport a 29 yr old ex-P.E. teacher who had contracted Multiple Sclerosis... __________________________________________________
tubeeorrnottubee ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 11:10:35 I's been on Cyclysporine.. 2.0mls, and Prednisone 5mls ..same for all that time.. when I first got my Sidney, {kidney hehe}, they tried me on Immuran, but my system said "ForGET iT!", and the rest is history! Golly Gina, I sure hope and pray that your kidney can do an about-face, and be a-o-K! ~I wanna keep hearing how y'are! OK?!;D __________________________________________________
ItalianStallionette ::: Favorites 2008-01-07 11:10:31 Amen to that Ran! __________________________________________________ |
