I wouldn't say that the X is draped in an American flag. Rather, the flag BURNS into the shape of an X. It's not patriotic or pro-American, but instead seems to be symbolic of the suffering of black Americans which Malcolm gave voice to.

Explain to me how, even in the imagination, an endless amount of space can be crossed. If it is crossable how could it be endless? It clearly had some sort of beginning or end. Even if you point to a circle, with the exhaustive possibilities to go around it, you will never reach an "end" as you feel exists between 0 and 1.
