Description: A little song about hysterical hyper-vigilance and where it leads. Actually all five of the books I've written deal with this topic in one way or another. (Although the clips of Jerry Falwell say live, I don't believe it!) Lyrics: Partial truths and exaggerated claims Searching for someone to blame I don't wanna hear about your obsessions I'm sick and tired of interventions Addicted to hyper-vigilance Emotional appeals have replaced common sense You may have the best of intentions But the road to hell is paved with your interventions |

The bass line I played on a keyboard, but the two guitar parts were played on an actual guitar! Occasionally I tap out my own drum beat, but more than half the time I use a canned beat. __________________________________________________ |
