Description: Ralph Bakshi and John K. series from the late 80s. This one has great cartoon spoofs on scooby doo and others. |

jpanucci ::: Favorites My favorite cartoon episode ever. Thought I'd never see it again. Thanks for posting it! 07-09-06 11:39:06 __________________________________________________
billamu ::: Favorites "Hey, there's nothing under there, just a neck and some... tendons". 07-09-06 10:00:04 __________________________________________________
jingledell666 ::: Favorites I never thought I'd ever see this again...my all time favorite cartoon!!! Well, apart from Warner Bros., but you know. "Now, that's just plain hard to believe!" 07-07-29 16:52:48 __________________________________________________
mascnat101 ::: Favorites cooll! 07-07-13 06:32:22 __________________________________________________
CBC1956 ::: Favorites Mighty Mouse aired at 12 Noon Eastern when this episode aired. Also, Bill Scott did not voice Hoodwinkle as Scott died three years earlier. John K. wasn't working on the show in season 2; he'd set up Spumco and did the ill-fated new "Beany & Cecil" show through DIC for ABC. 07-07-04 14:14:33 __________________________________________________
BigAL68xyz ::: Favorites THANNK YOU! I have always wondered what they were singing! You rock! 07-06-15 10:52:05 __________________________________________________
BigAL68xyz ::: Favorites Episodes like this were the show's strength - that strong, sarcastic wit. On that level, this was the best of the series. The Fairly OddParents movie, Channel Chasers, is a lot like this, except they turned the sarcasm down a little but added a LOT more show spoofs. By the way, did you notice the portrait on the wall by the staircase in the Scooby segment? Popeye with Ralph Bakshi's head! 07-06-15 10:49:34 __________________________________________________
narkspud ::: Favorites IIRC, the line about the show "not having enough heart in it" was a direct dig at a CBS spokesperson who publicly gave that as the reason for the show's poor ratings. (The fact that by then they were running it at 12:30 PM so that half the affiliates didn't carry it had nothing to do with it, I'm sure.) 07-06-01 01:19:01 __________________________________________________
GOTHMIDNIGHTMERMAID ::: Favorites The gag busters sound like the late Lorrenzo Music (Voice of one of the ghostbusters/Garfield...) & Mighty Mouse sounds like Paul Rubens a little bit... (Adding on to the last comment...) 07-05-26 01:20:40 __________________________________________________
