Pride & Prejudice (Opening Title Sequence)

Description: This is a project I did for my motion graphics class! We had to do an opening title sequence for a movie so of course I choose Pride & Prejudice! :) The idea was to give it this sketchy look to the characters and make them into drawings. The flickering effect is representing candlelight to give it the feel of that time period. Also adding the old textured florishes and background to give it that time period look as well. I hope you like it! It came out to about 135 layers for 2 minutes of video by the time I was done! Yes, many hours spent starting out putting it together in Adobe Photoshop and then into Adobe After Effects. Just to let you know I did leave out two characters from this, Charlotte Lucas and Caroline Bingley. We didn't have to use all the characters for the project. Do you think this could easily be the opening for the movie? Let me know what you think and thanks for watching! :)

drnknrblT ::: Favorites I love the idea of this, and the look and texture you gave the pictures. but I think the flicker, though a wonderful idea, is a little too strong, and in some of the credits it doesn't illuminate the "drawings" well enough.
