Description: Inspired by a blogger's mention of rock group The Who's lyric, "Meet the new boss, the same as the old boss" from 'Won't Get Fooled Again' song, I have decided to give a run thru of the whole song in American Sign Language (ASL) for the first time. I improvised some signs in the video that applies to the protest of Gallaudet University's new President selection process. 2nd rehearsal run, subtitles provided. This is for the Faculty, Students, Staff, Alumni, and the general public who cares for the future of deaf youth. Unity for Gallaudet! Music and Lyrics by Townshend (1971). (Correction of album: WGFA here is the short single version from "The Singles" CD (Polydor - Japan). The longer version is on "Who's Next" MCA CD. UPDATE: This video was mentioned in 'The Washington Post' last summer. |
